Correlation analysis on the land use and water quality data found that the % of land in row crop was the land use most closely correlated with nutrient conditions in the study area’s streams.  

As the % of land in row crop increased, these parameters also increased:

bulletMean and Median Nitrate (r=0.66 and 0.64)
bulletMaximum Nitrate (r=0.70)
bulletMedian Total Phosphorus (r=0.65)
bulletMedian Ortho-phosphate (r=0.47)
