Shannon started at Cacapon Institute as the Project Assistant in the Fall of 2018. Since then she has assisted in every program that Cacapon Institute offers from our private landowner tree planting program (YourBMP) to our schoolwide environmental education programs (PHLOW) to our public land community tree planting program (CommuniTree). She also assists in rain barrel workshops and in our water quality lab with stream sampling. As an avid adventurer, she has served as a Camp Counselor for our annual Stream Scholars Summer Camp. In her spare time, Shannon loves kayaking, fishing, tie-dying, and cooking. She currently lives in Great Cacapon, West Virginia.
